First Domain
The First Domain: one domain, converted and proven
A First Domain is one domain of up to 1,500 components and 25 TB. It is converted, reconciled and cutover-ready in your environment in 5 to 6 weeks, for $25,000 to $40,000, with the equivalence guarantee in writing.
Scope
What does a First Domain include?
- Scope: the objects you agree from the assessment, up to 1,500 components and 25 TB.
- The five stages: conversion by fixed rules, the resolver for edge cases with engineer approval, a reconciliation report for every object, and deployment to your target in your environment.
- The charter: the objects, the inputs and the reconciliation threshold, 95% by default, agreed before work starts.
Price
What does it cost, and how is it paid?
$25,000 to $40,000; $25,000 for under 800 components or over 70% low complexity. It is paid 50% at signing and 50% at the readout, and credited against the full estate for 180 days.
Guarantee
What does the equivalence guarantee cover?
The charter states the reconciliation threshold for the agreed objects on the agreed inputs. If the First Domain misses it at the readout, after the cure period and the exclusions stated in the charter, the fee is waived or credited in full. We can offer it because the output is deterministic.
Which domain
Which domain should go first?
Usually one that matters and can be proven: a domain finance or audit checks, with a known owner and a contained set of dependencies. The assessment recommends one from the lineage and complexity it maps.
Agent-ready
Is the First Domain where agent readiness is tested?
Yes. The three readiness tests run here before any agent touches production: idempotence (run a step twice on the same inputs), reconciliation after a rerun, and permissions (the agent’s identity reaches only the operations you exposed).

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What to include in a First Domain or pilot?
Up to 1,500 components and 25 TB from one real domain, including procedures, packages and schedules, not only tables; the inputs for reconciliation; the threshold, 95% by default; and a named engineer to approve resolver proposals.
How long does a First Domain take?
Five to six weeks from kickoff: environment setup and onboarding, conversion, reconciliation and exceptions, a cutover rehearsal, and the expansion readout.
Can we start the assessment before choosing a target?
Yes. The assessment counts and bands the estate the same way whatever the target, and Novuz converts to five targets from one assessment.
